Isn’t Direct Mail Dead?

On the contrary, direct mail is working BETTER in many niches than online marketing. Why? Well there’s a few reasons and suspicions.

My first gut reaction is there’s less competition.

Second, those who are left, aren’t that good.

Finally, in a recent direct mail offer in a highly competitive market (Business Opportunity) one of my clients reported these numbers…

**10% response rate to a cold rented list. A response in this segment was someone calling and listening to a recorded message to get a FREE DVD.

** 50% of those who called pressed “1” to request the DVD (and pay shipping)

** Of those, he made two (2) $2,000 sales.
